Wetlands

Wetlands protection has become an increasingly important and controversial issue. ARCADIS has been providing clients with wetlands services for more than 10 years. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach involving science and engineering specialists experienced in construction and restoration of wetlands for mitigation, remediation, and wastewater treatment.

Through constant education and participation in organizations, such as the National Association of Environmental Professionals and the Ecological Society of America, the ARCADIS staff is up to date on the latest policies and newest trends and techniques in the wetlands field. We have a strong and diverse staff to handle the many aspects of wetland identification, permitting and design process mitigation. These staff members include botanists, aquatic biologists, wetland scientists, hydrology engineers, planners, landscape architects, and civil engineers.

One of the most important considerations to be made when developing in or around a wetland area is the potentially negative impact that the environmental alterations may have upon the animal and plant life. ARCADIS professionals work with clients and regulators to mitigate impacts while accommodating development.

We have an established track record of negotiation, designing, and implementing low-cost, practical, and environmentally sound wetland solutions. Our team has designed and constructed wetlands for industrial, institutional, and public clients.
