ARCADIS is responsible for coordinating all design and permit activities for the 861-acre, 1,812 unit Development of Regional Impact (DRI) which includes a mixture of residential, commercial and recreational facilities. The Intracoastal waterfront community features a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. Infrastructure design includes stormwater management facilities, water and sanitary sewer systems, and effluent treatment and transmission system. ARCADIS assisted in the formation of Grand Haven Community Development District, a local unit of special purpose government created to finance, construct, operate and maintain certain infrastructure components within the community. Other services ARCADIS performed for this $30 million project included master planning, community development and site design.
