Georgia Recreational Centers

 

Ringgold Tennis Center and Lakeciew-Fort Oglethorpe Tennis Center

ARCADIS provided comprehensive engineering and site development services for two tennis complexes in Catoosa County: the Ringgold Tennis Center and the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Tennis Center. Each center has six public courts. Features include three-coat acrylic surfaces and vinyl-clad chain-link fences and framework in unique arrangement with 45-degree "California corners." The lighted facilities service competitive teams from local secondary schools, as well as community casual and team play.

Jack Mattox Recreation Center

ARCADIS also provided engineering, design, and planning services for the development of a 50-acre mixed-use active recreation park in Ringgold.
The park features a large adult baseball field and six softball and/or youth baseball fields, all lighted. Amenities include concession and scoring building, restroom facilities, spectator seating areas, fencing, and parking lots. In addition, design of walking trails and public access to a natural wetlands area and provision of stormwater controls were included in the plan.
