Recognizing the Remediation Technology Leaders of Tomorrow

For more than 50 years, ARCADIS has fostered success through technical knowledge. This philosophy has propelled us to leadership in a wide range of disciplines and has fostered a culture of excellence that has positioned ARCADIS at the forefront of our industry.

To continue this tradition, and to promote the advancement of environmental investigation and remediation science and technology, ARCADIS is sponsoring "SeeBeyondOthers – Student Research Paper Competition 2008." We are encouraging graduate and undergraduate students to write and submit a technical paper that demonstrates research with a theoretical focus and/or an orientation in the details of remediation system/technology implementation. Papers will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts and will be blind-judged based on originality, structure, composition and technical merit.

The authors of the top three winning papers will receive a monetary award ($5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second place, and $1,500 for third place), and a summary of their paper will be published in upcoming issues of Pollution Engineering. In addition, they will receive a complimentary registration, travel and accommodations stipend to attend the all-new RemTEC 2009 Remediation Technology Summit, "The Future of Remediation Technology," conference sponsored by Pollution Engineering Magazine, Georgia Institute of Technology, ARCADIS and others. Winners will also have the opportunity to present their winning paper at ARCADIS University, our internal technology and innovation training program, and to mingle with ARCADIS' internationally and nationally recognized experts.

Your research results can make a difference! Participate in our student research competition and make an impact on the future of investigation and remediation science and technology.
