Charleston, S.C., – Aug. 24,2007 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that Ray McGuirk has joined the Charleston office as the land planning department manager in our Land Resources Practice.

In his new role McGuirk will be responsible for management of land development clients and their projects, and for growing the land planning and landscape architecture group in the Charleston office.

McGuirk is a registered professional landscape architect in S.C., he brings over 20 years of experience to ARCADIS in land development areas such as community master planning, landscape architecture design and commercial / retail project design to name a few. He has led an award winning project team that included the residential/commercial master planning and landscape architecture for Daniel Island.

McGuirk joined ARCADIS from Due South Development where he was a partner. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in Landscape Architecture. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and has served on the Design Review Board for Mount Pleasant, S.C.
