Madelyn Robinson, AICP, Joins ARCADIS as Project Planner  
 

Charleston, S.C.  - Jan. 15, 2007 - ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Madelyn Robinson has joined our Charleston office as project planner.


Robinson's responsibilities will include mediating with approval agencies in code related issues, analyzing projects and defining specific planning tasks, and effectively conducting formal presentations to clients, approval agencies and the general public.


"With over a decade of local government experience, Madelyn brings keen insight, education and knowledge with her. Our South Carolina operation is growing quickly and as our projects take on complexity with code related issues and approval from multiple agencies, Madelyn will be helping us meet the needs of our growing list of clients. We are very excited to have her join our team and look forward to working with her," said Sam Hayes, ARCADIS Charleston Area Manager.


Having previously worked as the planning and zoning administrator for Berkeley County Government in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Robinson is uniquely qualified in her new position. She brings with her a thorough knowledge of local planning regulations and procedures from managing the responsibilities of 27 staff members from permitting clerks, code enforcement officers, building inspectors and professional planners and managers.


Robinson holds an MPA from the University of Charleston/University of South Carolina and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. A member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Robinson served as president and past-president of the American Society for Public Administration, Lowcountry Chapter, from 2000-2003.
