Houston, TX – Nov. 13, 2006 – ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Edward Quiroz has joined our Houston office as a senior project manager for civil, infrastructure and environmental projects.
Quiroz will play a key role in providing regulatory and technical services to a broad range of clients who require high-quality, yet cost-effective, technical solutions for their engineering problems.
"Ed brings in-depth technical knowledge that covers the full range of environmental services delivered to industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. His experience will significantly strengthen our ability to effectively address technical issues facing our clients," said Bill Kallas, ARCADIS Texas Area Manager.
With over 18 years experience, Quiroz has successfully executed projects for clients in the petrochemical, automotive, food and beverage, railroad, manufacturing, oil and gas production, transportation, waste handling and disposal, and agriculture industries. Quiroz’s experience also includes municipal projects covering solid waste transfer stations and facilities, landfills, potable water piping networks and supply wells.
Quiroz is a graduate from the University of Houston and holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. A licensed professional engineer in Texas, he is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Groundwater Association and Society of American Military Engineers.
