Denver – Sept. 3, 2008 - ARCADIS(EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced the hiring of Doran L. Matzke as associate counsel. As a key member of the ARCADIS Legal Services team, Ms. Matzke will counsel the company’s Infrastructure business and provide legal advice on litigation, transactions, health and safety matters, and corporate compliance matters.
Ms. Matzke has 19 years’ experience with the Denver law firm Sherman & Howard L.L.C., where she was a partner/member from 1995-2007 and an associate from 1988-1994. Her practice areas included general and commercial litigation, construction litigation and water rights law.
Ms. Matzke has been a member of the Governing Council for the Colorado Bar Association’s Litigation Section and is also a member of the American, Colorado and Denver bar associations. She graduated from the University of Virginia’s School of Law in 1988 and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Nebraska in 1983.
“I’m looking forward to applying my expertise in construction litigation and the water resource industry to support ARCADIS’ Infrastructure business while serving ARCADIS in other vital capacities,” said Ms. Matzke, who will report directly to General Counsel Steve Niparko.
