Cathy Cibit Joins ARCADIS as Senior Project Manager  
 
San Diego, Calif. – Aug. 21, 2007 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announces Cathy Cibit has joined the team as a Senior Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, Cibit will be responsible for a variety of land development, public utility and other governmental projects. Her major duties include client coordination, assembling and managing project teams and schedules, preparing/reviewing CEQA/NEPA documents, reviewing/preparing scopes of work, proposals, preparing budgets, schedules providing environmental land use advice, and business development.

Cibit joins ARCADIS from the County of San Diego where she was a Land Use and Environmental Planner III with over 30 years of extensive environmental and land use planning experience in the public and private sectors, with an emphasis in public works projects. These projects include major water and wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure such as pump stations and distribution lines.  She is proficient in various local, state and federal regulations, ordinances and policies related to land use and environmental planning. She also has considerable management experience having supervised large groups of professional environmental planners involved with the processing of discretionary permits for private and public projects. In addition, she has played a key role numerous multi disciplinary inter and intra departmental regulatory agency meetings.

Cibit has a bachelor’s in Biology from San Diego State University and post graduate studies in Zoology, San Diego State University. She is registered member of the Association of Environmental Professionals
