Denver, Colo. – March 1, 2007 – ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) has been selected by the Environmental Business Journal to receive the Gold Medal Award for Wall Street Index Performance at the 2007 Environmental Industry Summit.
  
In 2006, ARCADIS stock grew 97 percent from $31.60 to $61.16, following a 72 percent gain in 2005. In the first nine months of 2006, gross revenues from global operations increased 29 percent to EUR 892 million and net income from operations rose 61 percent to EUR 33.5 million. Margin improved to 8.9 percent, from 7.4 percent in the same period in 2005. In 2006, ARCADIS received the Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) Achievement Silver Award for Wall Street index.

The EBJ Achievement Awards were presented in a special ceremony at the EBJ's Environmental Industry Summit IV in Coronado, California on the evening of February 28, 2007. The 2006 EBJ awards were determined by a committee of EBJ staff and EBJ editorial advisory board members.
